The
Lighthouse was traditionally meant to be a guide for
sailors to direct them to safe passage and to warn of
danger. Today with our technology the lighthouse has
become a museum we visit on vacation. The vision of
www. thelighthouseletter.com is to help illuminate a safe passage to the truth of
God’s word and warn of dangerous and disastrous
doctrines.
We desire to
join those who have held and continue to preach the
truth before it becomes a museum we visit. From our
experiences in churches and the messages from the
pulpits of America today we believe modern American
Christianity is in danger of abandoning the truth. A
seeker friendly message continues to spew from our
pulpits failing to bring people to salvation and as a
result many people think they are saved because of
motion they agreed to by repeating words, raising a hand
or walking down an aisle.
This
generation of Christians have no love for the truth, no
desire to obey Christ and look for the successful life
instead of the faithful life. We will utilize the tools
of preaching and teaching, internet discussions and
posted teachings to be one of the beacons of truth for
this world.
Love not the world,
neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of
the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh,
and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but
